Merry Christmas at Seasons End

Atypically for Sweden we made the Christmas season a short three-day season. Kermit is our angel of choice for the top of the tree.

On Christmas Eve we took a walk to feed the ducks near the Old Mill and had some ribs from the grill.

Marie got her fix of Kalle Anka (Donald Duck) on TV. An annual tradition from when she was a kid. SVT (the Swedish public service television company) noted that Disney censored two short segments for Swedish TV. Disney cut off two short sequences that arguably reflects the stereotypical images of blacks and Jews.

On Christmas Day we opened gifts, finished off the grocery shopping, and cleaned. No football on TV in Valdemarsvik.

Today wraps it up for us with lunch.
