Another Walk in the Woods
I took another walk in the woods in Gusum, Sweden, hoping to get some better pictures. Turns out that without special lenses there is only such much you can do with rocks, and living/dead trees. But the pics do a better job of portraying the landscape. And it helps that the woods are right behind the apartment and you can reach the summit in about 20 minutes.
I dug up a small evergreen to see if I can grow it on the patio. It was hard to get all the roots out of the crevasses in the rock. We’ll see. If it does not live the consolation is I probably hurt more little trees walking in the woods than digging up one or two.
For you hunters — I am not one — seems to be a lot of deer skatt. Or at least what I think is deer skatt. There is a picture at the bottom if you can to confirm an identification. I have not seen a deer, which is not surprising given human scent and the noise of stepping on dried sticks.
For a moment today I thought I saw a bear. Only for moment. It was actually a tree stump but it looked like it had legs and an arm stretching up on a rock. I don’t really know if they have bears in Sweden.
